Godzilla: Domination! Game Boy Advance

Magnetic waves emanating from a mystery meteor are causing a handful of Earth's monsters to go berserk, leaving wide swaths of destruction in their wake. Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Megalon, Mothra, and Rodan punch, kick, claw, and bite as they fight for supremacy in two-, three-, or four-monster battles. In Story mode, players enter increasingly difficult battles until a winner is declared, while up to four competitors can duke it out in single-pak or multi-pak VS mode. A Custom mode offers single-round battles featuring up to four monsters, with players selecting levels, difficulty rating, number of monsters, and teams.

Godzilla: Domination, a 2D fighting game by the developers of Shantae and WWF Betrayal, contains optional timed events, a difficulty scale ranging from one to nine, and ally damage control. Power-ups provide a variety of enhancements and temporary skills in the areas of health, rage, speed, confusion, poison, and jumping ability. Destruction of buildings, charging the opponent, and blocking attacks fills a 3-level "rage meter," which is used to initiate special attacks. Each monster has a repertoire of six special attacks and three rage attacks, such as Godzilla's claw punch, tail swipe, mega bite, seismic stomp, horizontal claw, and diagonal kick, supplemented by rage attacks of atomic breath, crushing dive, and regeneration. ~ Michael L.
