Synopsis: Gods and Monsters (1998)

   Mckellen delivers a brilliant performance, undoubtedly his best performance still (stolen Oscar). This film shoul've been nominated, aslo, for Best Picture

   which I really really wish I'd seen when it was first released, but oh well--the dvd is great too. And I disagree with an earlier poster; it IS Brendan Fraser's best film. What's its competition?
