    Newsboys still got it

    Pros: New, old school flavor

    Cons: no Phil Joel

    I admit, I wasn't expecting this taste from the 'boys. But I like it! Something Beautiful is my favorite song on the album and it reminds me of an '80's dance hit. It's totally groovy! I also like the first song, "Wherever we... go". The lyrics are unique and makes you think.."what 're they talkin' bout mate?" The thing I love, is that they stand behind the music and they live the music that inspires them. They bow down to the Power behind the music without shame. The theme of the album and the "Go Tour" is taking this power to the world and living it in front of them. I had a chance to see them in concert recently and they are real people with the real message. The message of this album reminds us that we have a calling and a purpose. I recommend this album to anyone who has lost or hasn't found their purpose in life. To anyone who will answer the call to "Go!" Read more Less

    GO and get this album right now

    Pros: great energy and sound! Lots of fun to listen to! Every song is about Jesus!

    For those of you who loved Step Up to the Microphone and Take Me to Your Leader and were wondering when the Newsboys would return to that sound, you will love this new CD! The first song just captures the fun and feel of their old stuff. My first ta...ste of the Newsboys was Step Up To The Microphone (which I think is one of the best albums of all time) and we got to see them in concert with the OC Supertones (when Chase The Sun was just released). I was hooked the minute they came on stage. After Take Me To Your Leader, my interest waned, especially when they jumped into the worship scene. GO is a return to their roots. Some songs are even reminiscent of their really early album Not Ashamed, when they were a pop/rock fusion sound that they alone had! If you liked the energy and fun of the Newsboys earlier albums, then GO get this CD! Read more Less
