Pros: it looked real,loved when they are in war

It serves educational purposes,good for learniung about war,nice but still kind of sad.

i saw this movie it has action no nasty things only violance i saw it wth a teacher....i thought it was going to be boring but it got realy intresting right in the begging it dose have cusing(bad words) and it may be a little unconftruble the way they treat the slaves and its sad to at the end guess what happend realy interasting and maes u wonder whats going to happend next.:)

Glory. well what can i say? alot of things!!! first of all matthew broderick did a splendid job. and second of the the music ( composed by horner) was so awesome i got goosebumps. the music was so deep and compelling.WOW! if you are thinking about geting this movie. dont think. just go and get it. it is awesome. i promise you wil love it. if you dont like it then you can email me and tell me what a &*$^*^$*^@$*^ i am. But you wont. the movie is so good and heartbreaking. you will drop many tears. this movie pushed the limits of movies far well beyond our reach. A 20 out of 10!

This was an amazing movie! The movie is based on the letters that Shaw wrote. The actors did a wonderful job and played their part beyond well! It has a great sense of honor and justice. They were the ones who volentired to go first and that takes a lot of courage to do something like that! Even though I saw the edited version of this (school thing), it was amazing! This movie desurves it's 5 stars that I and others gave it. This movie is a classic! Tetsu,

This movie was just great and after watching it makes you feel more of a patriot. Even though the ending was sad it was still a great movie. I will definetly get this on DVD.

This is one heck of an awesome movie. I must say that it one of the best movies that I have ever watched or if not it is the best!!! Everything about it is wonderful: the pride and honor that each of these men showed and the effort they put into fighting for what they believed was right in making this country a better place. I think that every high school or even college professors should show this in their history class because it would give the students a real feel of history; the struggles that this men went through. I highly recommend it!!!!

this was an awesome movie that was showed what the civil war was like very accuratly, and also had an amazing story and lots of drama. It was very well put together, and also very sad! You should definetly see it!

This film got raves, and Denzel won an Oscar. But as far as historical accuracy is concerned the film doesn't quite come up to par. The truth and accuracy can be found in "Where Glory and Honor Meet" an excellent book. Remember, if it isn't a documentary, we're here to enjoy a good and moving story, that is definately what this one is. Watch and enjoy, but don't look for a lot of truth.
