    the esential favorite 80's skater flick, this one make thrashin look like a skate board traing wheels movie. the original title for gleaming the cube was skate or die, and gleaming the cube means reaching the ultimate(ultimate skater)so i heard? one ...of my all time favorites. everytime i watch this classic i want to pick up my old board and Gleme the cube, so to speak.     When I recieved Gleaming the Cube for my birth day I was so excited to see Christian Slater because I'm a HUGE fan of his! I thought Christian was very cute in this film and he was great as the character Brian! I like the whole story, Brian wants to ...prove that his brother was killed. The movie gets you sucked in, it makes you want to see what happens, it keeps you asking yourself, 'does Brian prove his brother was killed?' I loved all the action and it was also funny too! I loved everything about this movie! It's a keeper! Read more Less

    Best movie I have seen in a while as far as retro movies. Tony Hawk makes a couple of camios since he is Christian Slater's friend in the movie. Pretty cool to see Tony and his 80's skater haircut. This movie has a great plot as well, something to ho...ok you in and keep you watching.     I have seen some of Christian Slater's recent movies like Hard Rain and I really liked it so I started watching some of his other movies and my dad told me about this one and I love this movie. :)
