Benson's Best Album and Lee's Best Work!

I think Lee Ritenour is the best studio guitarist, and in this album, he plays the very special role in all arrangement. Quincy also says so in inner sleeve.
This album is his best studio work. The backing of "Midnight Love Affair" and "Give Me The Night" is very funky, and his acoustic guitar play of "Love Dance" is very beautiful.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoWonderful
How is it possible that no one rated this album yet? This is the best Benson album ever and is certainly one of the best Soul-Jazz albums in history. No surprise, with Q as producer. And speaking about Q, you can image that the best musicians, songwriters and arrangers of the entire universe contributed to this album. One more advice; check out the background vocals, they are heavenly.
