Gisburg
Vocalist and composer Gisburg was born in Salzberg, Austria in 1966. She studied flute there before moving to Berlin in 1985. While in Berlin, Gisburg had a vocal duo (Alliin Gaa) with Anna Clenti, and performed in Dieter Schnebel's ensemble. She moved to New York in 1992, and since then, has worked with Anthony Coleman and Roy Nathanson for the Knitting Factory label, and with cellist Michelle Kinney.
