Synopsis: Gidget (1959)

The first and best of the Gidget movies which spawned equally popular television series (two of them!). The pert 'n' perky Dee, a California tomboy, spends the summer at Malibu learning how to surf--and learning about love from a cool surfer and a beach bum. Novelist Kohner based the character on his daughter.

    i have loved this movie for so long. sandra dee is by far the best of all the gidgets. everyone should see this movie!

    This movie is the greatest. I was hook the first time. Of course, Moondoggie is the cutest but check him out in other movies such as "Gidget Goes to Rome". Sandra Dee is not in but Moondoggie is.
