Taking some of the best elements of The British Invasion of the 60's and uppity poppunk, The HiFives don't even need to use beaten catch phrases like "shagadellic" or "oh behave." Rather, with their clean cut image and three piece suits "Get Down" is a delightful change of pace from all the Bay Area brat punk that Lookout is known for. It's like this album provides the mental image of these guys riding scooters through downtown London while being chased by a swarm of screaming teenage girls. Not quite anything like "Hard Day's Night," but still a heck a lot of fun. [A Japanese version added a bonus track.]
