    Pros: the rebirth of true rock

    Cons: words lacking in ingenuity

    with traces of AC/DC, the beatles, guns n' roses, and a bevvy of other retro groups, jet's instrumental techniques are also amazing, the artists make use of all their instruments, from the slide guitar to drums to the organ and piano. with M...ark wilson playing three instruments, and billy preston covering on some songs. jet, in a sense, is retro. They dont bar themselves to just a single "theme" for each song either; in Lazy Gun, they go from an AC/DC sound to the late sixties melodies. This seems to make up for the lyrics being repetitive and at times, boring. In Look What You've Done, the listener finds himself annoyed towards the end at the repitition of the chorus. this is definately an album for the lovers of classic rock, and those who grow tired of rap and want to feel good after hearing an album. This is feel-good rock. Read more Less

    Pros: It's not CandyPop or getto rap

    Cons: Needs a bit more originality and substance

    In an industry overloaded with getto rap and CandyPop it's good to hear a throwback to the days of Glamrock and Punk music. The sound is upbeat and positive. The lyrics, although fresh and fun, lack any real substance or ingenuity. Looking forwar...d to hearing next release. Read more Less

    New Definition of Rock 'N' Roll in Today's World

    Pros: The music and attitude are just awsome

    Cons: umm...maybe some of the lyrics which sound a little off

    Imagine if you will a world very similar to our own. In this world the Beatles broke up when they did in our world. Thirty years later Paul joined up with Angus from AC/DC who for unknown reasons left AC/DC (he is very disgruntled when people refer t...o his former band and Malcom Young and Brian Johnson have "mysteriously vanished") , Mick Jagger from The Rolling Stones (who was tired of Keith not sharing what he very frequently refers to as "the stuff" take it as you will), and Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters and Nirvana (Dave is hired by them for the simple fact that as an ego boost the other three members have a band mate who will now grovel and bow to them on stage at every concert as the band gets on stage). So these four Rock efficianados have joined together in a supergroup and get together to make an album and go on tour. By being and hanging out with Angus for to long they all gain Aussie accents. They make their album and entitle their band with a name. They name the band JET, and title the Album they make Get Born. The album comes out, and once again all four men have again redefined rock music of the time. Read more Less

    Get Born, Jet's first album, is the best first album any artist has put out. I could sit and listen to the whole album over and over, as i am now. Watch out for these guys they've got potential.

    GET BORN IS AN AWESOME ALBUM!!!!

    This album is a mix between the Beatles almost. The album is awesome!! Go buy it!! Listen to songs "Are You Gonna Be My Girl", "Cold Hard B****", and "Look What You've Done". They all are great!!
