    He's Awesome!

Pros: He knows how you make you start tappin' your toes and just feel good about yourself!

Cons: He doesn't have more songs!

LITTLE RICHARD is an amazing guy! The only bad thing is that he doesn't have more songs!

Pro Reviews: Georgia Peach

  • All Music Guide

Perhaps the greatest of Little Richard's greatest hits compilations, the 25-track Georgia Peach features all of his biggest hits in chronological order, as well as terrific singles that never were as big as "Tutti Frutti" and "Good Golly Miss Molly." On top of the sublime song selection and sound, the liner notes by compiler Billy Vera are splendid and insightful.

While numerous other RB greats of the early 1950s had been moving in a similar direction, none of them matched the sheer electricity of Richard's vocals. With his bullet-speed deliveries, ecstatic trills, and the overj... Read more
