George A. Hirliman
American producer George A. Hirliman entered the film business as a purveyor of raw film stock. In 1927, he sold his laboratory to Consolidated Film Industries Inc. and instead founded Exhibitors Screen Service, which he sold to National Screen Services in 1933. From 1933 to 1935, he functioned as West Coast production executive of Consolidated, supervising all independent film production for the company. In the same vein, Hirliman produced four non-Westerns starring ">Dorothy Page. He was at one point in the 1930s married to starlet Full George A. Hirliman Biography
