Gene Autry Show - Gold Dust Charlie (1950)

Gene Autry, the singing cowboy, hosted his own television show every week from 1950-1955 which featured special guests and always a great song from Gene himself. This collection includes, "Gold Dust Charlie" - Gene must discover who murdered Gold Dust Charlie, and still finds time to sing "Cowboy Blues." "Head for Texas" - Gene helps a jockey stop cattle rustlers, and sings "Sing Me a Song of the Saddle." "The Doodle Bug" - A gang of thieves are holding up stagecoaches, and Gene sings, "Ridin' Down the Canyon." "The Silver Arrow" - Gene and guest Pat Buttram find a murderer and save a framed man. Gene sings, "Can't Shake the Sands of Texas from My Shoes."
