    Gen-X Cops

Let's see, the movie is really good, the cameo by "a guest fisherman" was pretty funny (not in a laughable manner), the action was great, the mix of English, Chinese and Japanese in the dialogue worked really well, in other words, buy it, you won't ...be disappointed. It's got some explosions that are cool, too (they're dealing with rocket fuel here). I like the names, too (Y2K, Match, Alien...), really fits their character. The only gripe I have with this movie is that when it comes to the Japanese dialogue, it is not subtitled, nor dubbed, unless the subtitles are turned on on your DVD system. So, it doesn't really matter wether you are watching the English or the Chinese language, you're gonna have to put the subs on, because there are some things you would not understand when watching the movie without it. But that did not bother me at all.The stars in the movie did write a song for the end credits, I just wish the whole song was in english, 'cause it sounded pretty cool. And they can also act the way're supposed to, like "gen-x kids", like there's such a thing. If this movie was redone as an American film with the same script, and it would still be good. I think the actors were Canadian, or something, like Francois Yip from Rumble In The Bronx. Somebody please verify that with me if they are or what-not.The direction is alright, typical HK action movie direction, except this one part when they get out of the car in a chemical plant. The movie is not that old either, unlike the m Read more Less

I am highly into Asian cinema and this film was a good watch. Action, explosions, martial arts and eye candy. I have seen gen Y cops but this is the one to watch. I say buy this film before it becomes unavailable.
