The PA amplifier design benefits from an upgraded electronic crossover network, as well as a new limiter for superior overload protection and extremely low distortion. In addition, the faceplate features a sand-blasted finish that adds an extra detail of ruggedness to the heavy-duty chassis.

The EXA-2950 (1000 w) models are three rack spaces high and feature large VU meters, dual level controls, fan cooling, and LEDs that indicate signal, peak, and protect status. Inputs include a choice of 1/4" or balanced XLR, while available outputs include Banana binding post, 1/4", and Speaker On. Operation can be stereo or bridged mono. Power is switchable between 115 and 230 volts, and a ground lift is available.
