    this is possibly the goriest game ever for the xbox 360, it totally frags Halo 3 and blows its head off with a shot gun.to players under 17, it is scarry,scarry as in micheal jackson scarry,and some peoples may find this game unsuitable for there chi...ldren, but i have an eleven year old at home wanting this game, and he's not scared,so i would buy this game or give it a good review Read more Less

    Pros: everything!

    Cons: we need a sequel!

    I waited on this game since before the launch of the 360. I was disappointed it took so long for it's release but sometimes you wait longer to get a finished product-as in this case. It definitely not for kids or those with no desire for bloody g...ames but it is far better than any of the wii launch titles and is just ahead of "resistance:fall of man" or "call of duty 3" for ps3. it won several awards at a video game awards show. need I say more?     Pros: graphics, story, gameplay, controls

    Cons: way to dark in some levels, the final boss fells like it is just another fight because there is no real background element to him

    I really thought that this might end up being a “Kill.switch” clone because of the focus on the cover element of the game. It was king of refreshing to see that it wasn’t. As a matter of fact, I found the game to be one that I couldnâ...€™t put down. The storyline was solid, except I would have loved to have seen more involvement and background of Raam. The graphics were great, however there were times that I would have loved a little more light. The controls were simple and easy felt natural. The cutsceens and voice acting were top notch. And, there is a high replay value in the game. Single player, campaign co-op via X-Box Live and split-screen, and a very solid multiplayer. This is definitely a must have for X-Box 360 owners.     Pros: Everything! CO-OP offline play

    Cons: I want Gears of War 2

    This movie was totally fun and kept my husband and I entertained for days and we are still playing and going back to improve our score. I do HAVE to say though that the main thing that appealed to us is that it OFFERED CO-OP (Split screen campaign) O...FFLINE PLAY!!! If you are a gamer you already know how HARD it is to find games that you and your friend/husband/wife can sit down and play split screen campaign without having to log on to cyber world.I really wish that more game developers would HEAR OUR PROTEST!! Tom Clancy games used to offer the campaign co-op split screen offline play but its latest game failed us there and we didn't bite. Thank you GOW for offering this option PLEASE, PLEASE make part 2 with the same option!! Read more Less

    Pros: camera moves wich you never seen before

    you know every action games are now the same means you are fighting against lots of enemies in deferent locations and you just helping plant with what you do . this is the same story but it make you say this sentence many times : wow man it awesome 1...st time it made me say so was when i started to run the camera view changed to a view which your are seeing in action documentary war movies which the camera man had to hide camera keep it down to save it from enemy bullets this camera view is exactly the same. second time I've said the sentence was the time i sow game demos there were times that i said it is awesome but the most awesome part is the end Read more Less

    Anointed by the games media as Microsoft's first "killer app" for its Xbox 360, Epic Games' Gears of War is a futuristic thirdperson shooter emphasizing tactical action over runandgun battles. Players are thrust in a climactic clash... between what's left of humankind and a swarming underground race called the Locust Horde. The main protagonist is Marcus Fenix, a once disgraced soldier looking to redeem himself by leading a ragtag squad against the monstrous threat. Since the alien army vastly outnumbers the team, players must use the postapocalyptic world to their advantage, such as seeking cover behind dumpsters, pillars, cars, rubble, and other objects. The developer has adapted its awardwinning Unreal technology to create interactive environments with a physicsbased damage system. Players, for instance, can shoot down structures to forge new routes or opportunities to trap the enemy. Up to three squad mates will accompany Fenix in each mission, with basic commands such as "advance," "hold," or "freelance" available to guide them. A behindtheshoulder view similar to the one employed in Capcom's Resident Evil 4 is the default perspective in Gears of War.     Pros: Great new play

    Cons: too much dependence on co-op and online play

    This game is just one of those games that you have to own. The many new features are creative and enjoyable. The sprinting system doesnt impress, and the award points rely very heavly on co-op and online play.

    Cons: glitches to cheat in multiplayer games

    Hey got this over 3 weeks ago...been playing online with it..every so often..its has a good story mode..but the game play is online... tons of fun...you get to use different kewl weapons..hard part is sometimes the glitches in the game..host advandt...age...plus not being able to shoot exactly at times... anyways, must have game...you will enjoy it...
