| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews The strangest thing about Infected Mushroom is not their squirty, talismanic collages of electronics, nor their name which must've come up after a long night of dismissing the lyrical sparkle of Unhygienic Elastic or Corruptible Pencil -- no, the strangest thing about these Israelian dance nutjobs is that they're actually rather good. Restrained samples for those that care. Torrential arrangements for those that don't. Amid Duvdevani and Erez Aizen funnel the more traditional uplift of MDMA through their clearly unique background to offer ever-busy, often over-complicated psychedelic trance that sounds like an Orb record demanding money for cleaning rain. High marks for constructing one of the few celebratory albums for the demented. - Dean Carlson, All Music Guide |

Pros: Everything

Release Me
Starts with Independence Day quotes mixed in with classical dark strings and synthesizers. After about a minute the beat and the guitarts come in and make a great track.
The Gathering
Beat starts off faster than release me and doesnt have guitars instead they have dark infected mushrrom sounds that just soothe the ears.
Return of the Shadows
Has almost a coughing loop and strange twisted sounds with a pounding throbbing bass makes this track a classic mushroom song.
Blue Muppet
Starts of fast with echos and has the psychedelic version of rope pulling and sounds amazing. Sound FX keep coming and work together perfectly.
Psycho
Starts off with like a guy falling and beat starts pounding. Their is a high frequency rhythmic static that chips away at the track amazingly and is harmony for the ears.
Montoya (remix)
Starts off with classic synths and the beat comes in low and dark. Bass with it is dark and sound fx are also dark which makes it great.
Tommy the Bat
By the far the tranciest track on this album and is wonderful. Beat is clean and powerful with too many sound fx overlapping to count and builds on itself until it breaks free in the end.
Virtual Voyage
Starts with voices chopped and repeated to give effect of repeated sounds really quickly and beat comes in with a voice humming with a crazy effect put to it. Sounds really crazy and psychedelic.
Over Mode
2nd trance song on here with breaks every now and then to change it up. Triangle tings with low synths and basses makes this track a good track to leave off on.
Can't say enough about Infected Mushroom. Their style changes with every album and that is what makes them so unique. Every album and every track is completly unique and beautiful. I love Infected Mushrooooomm!!!!! ...
