    5000 isn't what I want

    Pros: Very good, visually

    Cons: Not portable

    I bought the nuvi 5000, but I'm taking it back to BestBuy.
    It's not portable. It needs the battery connection TO THE CAR to make it work. (That's NOT how BestBuy presented it)

    Pros: LARGE SCREEN

    Cons: SLOW TO CONNECT WITH SATELLITE

    I have owned 3 Garmins and this is the worst one for connecting with the satellite. Sometimes it has taken 5 minutes to connect and sometimes I have even had to unplug it several times before it finally connects. I have used it both in the USA and Ca...nada. Read more Less
