Pros: Ease of Use; Upload of POI files

Cons: Ghost Streets & Roads

I previously owned a Garmin 200 and the only reason I didn't like that one was that it didn't announce street & road names like the 255 does. Both are good units, easy to upload POI files with Garmin software, but both have a tendency to have... what I call ghost streets & roads - that don't exist on the GPS map but physically do exist or they do exist on the GPS map but don't physically exist. Actually own two Garmin 255 units, one for each vehicle that are used daily and are great for finding businesses on the fly. Read more Less
