Pros: Very small size, simple user interface, voice navigation
Cons: Small screen can make text difficult to read, only lasts a couple of hours on battery
I decided on this GPS because of price/value, small size (used in my Miata), recommendation by CR magazine, and experience with other Garmin GPS's. I haven't been disappointed. The simple interface while providing only a map navigation screen is sufficient for most applications. I would like the ability to get the actual latitude and longitude but I sure that's really not that important to most people (which is probably why they kept it simple). Accuracy seems as good as any other GPS I have used (probably 8 ft) and it works great on the left lower corner of the windshield where I like to put it. It operates from 2 AA cells (about 2 hours) or the included cigarette lighter cord. I have loaned it to friends who have since gone out to buy their own. If you are looking for a no-nonsense GPS that a non-gadget person (hint:wife) can use, than this GPS will probably fit the bill.

Pros: small, accurate, mindblowing
Cons: It falls off the windshield once in a while
Cons: The little cuplike part that clings to the windshield can be better, and the batteries could last longer (but no problem if you plug it into a cigarette lighter).
Other than that, it fits into a small place in your briefcase. I flew to Seattle from NY, and than drove to Vancouver, AND IT GUIDED ME PERFECTLY THROUGH THAT CITY. All the streets were in the memory, nothing to load. And it speaks. This is the kind of technology that would have cost multi thousands of dollars just several years ago, and now I had something that amazed my computer savy kids that I bought for a mere pittance.
This inexpensive device will become mainstream in my opinion. Why would any sane driver do without it?Was this review helpful? Yes - NoBest Value

Its value for money all the way. One of the cheapest GPS systems out there. The only flaw is that it does not speak out street names!
