Pros: You'll never get lost. Can be used for hiking or driving.

Cons: 19mb of memory, slow calculation

I've had this GPS for 2.5 yrs and it works great in the Bay Area, CA. You can change the orientation so you can use it for driving in the horizontal position, or hiking in vertical position. The Garmin maps allow you to plan your course on the PC and then use your waypoint plan when driving. It's great when you're looking for a house.

There's only two things that I wish it had: more memory and fast processor. The processor speed is not much of an issue in the bay area, but when used in L.A., it takes calculates 5 mins to calculate to a destination since the streets are more complex. 19MB allows me most of SF and the south bay up to Monterey county. In LA, I get much less coverage. I would have to reload the maps if I wanted different areas.
