Gandhi, "The Wild Little Bald Dude from INDIA", this film tells the story of the beloved leader we never knew. From his arrest in 1968 for public drunkeness, indecent exposure and resisting arrest, to his radical support of capital punishment you will learn about the real Gandhi. The biggest surprise of the film comes from BRITNEY SPEARS in her film debut. Her portrayal of Monica Raj Shah, the young intern whose accusations of sexual harassment at the Taj Mahal nearly brought about Gandhi's impeachment, is brilliant and well worth an oscar. Here is a short list of some of the many shocking facts you will learn about Gandhi.... 1. He was a womanizer who liked to seduce young women with promises of clean water. 2. His hunger strikes were merely a plot to get HBO into India. 3. He had a terrible temper and used to beat Indira backstage at concerts and then force her to belt out "Proud Mary" Gandhi has a running time of 3 hours, but you will be so mesmerized it will feel like only 2 hours and 55 minutes.
