    Pros: Chico Debarge

    Cons: None!

    The Game was the second (technically the third) cd from Chico which was another one of my personal favorites! Every single last song is WONDERFUL (I know I said it from the last review) but Chico is such an outstanding, and talented writer, musician,... artist, singer....you name it! He is definitely a refreshing change from all of the crappy supposed singers that are out today! Too bad many people sleep on Chico! Read more Less

    I just want to say that I haven't bought Chico's album, but I have a single with snippets of songs on it, and I have to say that I didn't really know about Chico until he got out of jail, but EVERY song I have ever heard by him is great!!!! Everythi...ng he sings about usually affects me in some kind of way, maybe because that thing that he sings about may be going on in my life. I really have to say that I admire Chico, and I hope he keeps doin what he's doin. Read more Less

    this one isn't as good as the first one. chico know he should've left "'til tomorrow" alone. he just doesn't quite have marvin's pipes. "give you what you want", "listen to your man" and "sexual" are the only noteworthy tracks to me (anything he doe...s with joe seems to be tight). it's not a weak cd but it can't touch #1.     Magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I really enjoyed this album just as much as the "Long Time No See" album. Chico continues to give us a piece of his heart & soul through his music. I have many favorites on that album including "Heart, Mind, and Soul" which was done with his mother....... "The Game", and "The Edge"... the list goes on... If you haven't listened to this album yet, you must get it. I guarantee you that you will never get tired of it... and it is not one of those albums in which there are only a few good songs.... All of them are good... REALLY GOOD, and I guess that's because it's coming straight from the heart of one who has experienced a taste of what life has to offer. Read more Less

    Chcio has done it again. If you think his first LP was nice you got to go cope his new albume "the Game" Featuring the hot single "Give you what you want (fa Sure). This Lp will have your body movin' all night long LP. Guys if you want to get a lady... goin or get the mood right you can just pop this CD in and let is flow.     It's hard to top "Long Time No See" Chico's 1st LP, but you can tell he put a lot of effort into "The Game." "Everybody Knew But Me", "When Will I See You Again", "Listen To Your Man w/JOE and "Sorry" will satisfy anyone's r&b taste. "Til Tomorrow" ...is a classic remake of the original. Chico DeBarge is definitely not a victim of the sophomore jinx. Read more Less

    Once again Chico Debarge has done his thing for the public and for himself..He has presented the universe with his sophmore set " The Game" with all smashing #1 hitts as expected..chico has brought to the public ears sensational Life Intricates for ...every listener out there.. That's from the young and old, the white collar man, the blue collared gentleman, the troubled soul and last but not least the everyday male and female that loves the sould of this white and blue collared gentleman Mr. Chico Debarge..he as usual gave us heart pounding,lip trembling, soul shaking music fro the soul which was already written in stone for him to do extremly well with this ablum...what did yoiu expect?Hmmm i wonder..Mr. Chico Debarge gave you songs to make your heart pound to his beats like listen to your man featuring joe, talk about you featuring bobby brown and Give you What you want and that's fo Damn sure!Then he slows the soul down and give you Love Intricates like sorry, everybody knew but me, and sexual..Then he gets mellow with the tones with when can i see you again with Brian Mcknight which gave he delivers str8 to your doorstep express..and he keeps it comming strong no pun intended...keep your focusand the rest will follow with God and his blessings...Faith2DaWorld

    *WONDERFUL * a must buy for chico fans

    I must say that Chico has done it again. this album is great! it is much different from the first one and to me shows an evolution of feelings into a relationship. This album explores relationships in a deeper manner which is shown in tracks such as... "listen to your man" "everyone knew but me" and "sorry". Of course the CD includes the sexy tracks that made his second album memorable. And last but not lease the album pic on the back of the CD.....just take a HARD look. Most females would not be diappointed. i know i wasn't. Chico has tremendous talent and i won't be surprise if the CD goes gold or better. :o) Read more Less
