Love it
Pros: large wash basket, quiet, many cycle options, neat touch screen.
Cons: long wash cycles
We bought this in september of 2006. We have never had to call for service on this or the dryer. I love the many cycle options including a hand wash cycle and the dryer has a dryel cycle. They are so quiet that I can run them at night and not disturb my son whose crib is on the other side of the wall from the washer/dryer. I even wash my king size comforter in it. Would buy again and again.

Pros: No agitator
Cons: Too Long Wash Cycle
I purchased this washer & dryer a month ago. Was told by my friend who LOVES it that it was the Greatest! I was very disappointed. The only thing I like about it is that it doesn't have an agitator to wring the clothes to death. But even without that, I don't see in the long run how it is going to save your clothes with the length of time it takes to wash a load -- 45 to 50 minutes-- I don't get it. Why so long? I don't like to put everything in the dryer and I find my clothes come out of the washer more wrinkled than my old washer with the agitator. I regret the money we spent for this set and wish we had purchased a much more reasonably priced set.

Pros: Large Wash Basket
Cons: Noisy, Bad Plate In The Bottom Of The Washer
I have owned this washer for 8 weeks.
The GE repair man has been here twice for the
same problem the plate in the bottom is bent and
this won't let you wash large loads of clothes.
5 or 6 bath towels is the limit for a load. Otherwise
the machine is so noisy you can't stand it, the
teeth won't engage the way they are supposed to.
I would not recommend this washer to anyone.
My local dealer says they won't replace the
washer and to take the probem up with GE.

Pros: Holds SOOO much more than a regular washer! It is a top loader which was important to us.
Cons: I can't turn it on and then go get my load of laundry.
I absolutely love my almost new washer!! We bought it from Sears. I have had to call them twice but neither time did it take a part, just an adjustment. The wait was frustrating but relatively short. If you can afford this model and you have lots of laundry, buy this model definitsly!!

Good machine, silent, clean clothes but unreliabe!!
GE Service cannot back up this machine. My washer has been broken since September 14, 2006.
After numerous service calls, usually 1 week apart, machine is still dead and GE service management has a don't care attitude, actually rude if you try to voice any displeasure. 5 weeks and counting is a long time to be without a washing machine.
