A master of the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute, G.S. Sachdev has remained tied to the musical traditions of northern India. A friend of Swami VishnuDevanada, the founder of International Sivananda Yoga Vedenta Centers, Sachdev mostly performs in the spiritual organizations' ashrams and centers. According to George Harrison, "we are fortunate to have such a fine musician in our presence." Sachdev has lived in San Rafael, CA, since the 1980s.
