Pro Reviews: G N' R Lies
| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews The first side of Lies features their primitive independent debut EP, full of raw, vital rock roll. Despite its disturbing lyrics, the second side is even more impressive musically, containing everything from the stark acoustic balladry of "Patience" to the countryrock boogie of "Used to Love Her." - Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide |

Guns N' Roses Biography
At a time when pop was dominated by dance music and pop-metal, Guns N' Roses brought raw, ugly rock roll crashing back into the charts. They were not nice boys; nice boys don't play rock roll. They were ugly, misogynist, and violent; they were also...Full Guns N' Roses Biography

Pros: A good EP
Cons: Could have been longer
Guns'N'Roses second release was 1/2 live track and 1/2 studio tracks.
The live tracks were from their early concerts; and the studio songs feature an accoustic version of You're Crazy.
The 2 standout tracks are Patience and Used To Lover Her.
The song One In A Million is very controversial and insulting, and I didn't like it (neither did quite a lot of people).
An interesting choice, but worth it for the other songs.
