When It First Appeared In 1999,FuturamaHad All The Makings Of A Hit.Indeed It Did Very Good For Fox,Scoring Very Well In The Ratings With The Simpsons And King Of The Hill.But,For Reasons Unknown ,The Executives At Fox Just Turned A Blind Eye To The Show.Too Bad.Futurama Was A Fractured Fairy Tale Look At The Future.In 1999,Pizza Delivery Boy Phillip J.Fry Accidentally Falls Into A Suspended Animation Chamber And Wakes Up In New New York In The Year 3000,Whereupon He Meets Up With One Eyed Kung Fu Mama Lela(Voiced By Katey Segal);His Great,Great,Great,Great,E

This spawn of the simpsons by groening did not quite ascertain the level of fame that the springfield family now has.
However this show is funny and if I had enough money to buy it, i would, and I would also steal it from your dumbass!!

a smartly written show. A few misfired jokes here and there, but the spoofs on 20th Century America are tough to beat.

I bought this on my way to work today so I haven't had the chance to watch this yet but judging this collection on the holders and all that. I think this is awesome. The 3 individual plastic holders for each disc (wich you can also read through from the inside) are a great idea. Each show has audio comentary wich to me is very important. South Park not having that has stopped me from buying it. The sound is supposed to be in dolby digital wich is another great feature. I used to hold the simpsons as the standard against all of these collections but the bar has been raised. I just hope The Family Guy is as good.

I love this show. It takes a couple of episodes to get into the characters, after that its golden. I highly sugest giving this a try!
