Yet another pseudonym for the work of Taylor Deupree (aka Taylor 808) and Savvas Ysatis (aka Omicron) -- that is, besides S.E.T.I.. and Arc -- Futique make the alias rather necessary, since the duo's material is surprisingly different from their usual glut of sparse ambience. Hip-hop beatboxes and Crooklyn dub make appearances alongside the jazzy rhythms on Futique's debut, Luv Luv (recorded, as always, for the Instinct label). Mr. So So followed in 1996, and Go Low appeared three years later....
