The camera's high sensitivity range, made possible by Fujifilm's Real Photo Technology, enables FinePix S9100 users to capture images using natural light in a wide variety of lighting conditions. In addition, Fujifilm's Picture Stabilization technology uses the heightened sensitivity of the FinePix S9100 and high-speed shutter settings to reduce blur caused by camera shake and subject movement.     great little camera for the money

    Pros: handles like a fully manual camera

    Cons: lens distortion on the wide angle (28mm)

    Everthing about this camera should appeal to an experienced photographer. also the amateur photographer, given all the "automated" modes and plenty of room to grow and take your own decisions ie, f stop,shutter speed, full flash,or less int...ensity on the flash output. I particulary like the use of ordinary rechargeable batteries AA or disposables. The range of the zoom lens is awsome 28mm thru 300mm equivalent to 35mm film format. The looks and feel is of a 35mmm film camera, which in my opinion is very nice. this is my first digital camera , prior to this camera, I used and still have a pro medium format film camera Pentax 6x7. with 3 lenses, each lens weights more than the s9100, the body of the pentax is even heavier. The only reason why I would use the medium format film camera, will be for archictectural photography ( where you need straight vertical lines as well as horizontals ones) However the s9100 will do just fine for landscape style of photography.     Pros: Weight, ease of use, price...

    Cons: Shots are grainy in low light condition...

    The feel is the one of a DSLR camera, the possibilities are endless, the focus and zoom rings are awesome for a bridge camera. The supermacro mode allows you to shoot as near as 1 cm from your subject and the 10.7x optical zoom does the job. 9M pixel...s and a tilt LCD screen... I found this camera to be demanding in low light conditions, reslting in shots that are grainy. For the price you will have an overall great bridge camera, the perfect one if changing lenses is not your cup of tea.... Read more Less
