Pros: gorgeous images, macro is excellet, zoom is better then most
Cons: Nothing except now I want a bigger better fuji !!
I love this camera. I get so many positive remarks about the photos I've taken with this affordable camera.
Pros: The Best BANG for the buck
Cons: ..... I'll have to think about that one
I had been looking for a camera of my own, and after a month of searching through reviews, I had chose this camera. It's very easy to use, and can give professional confidence to even the newest amateurs.
Pros: Price, quality, weight
Cons: I still find some noise in the resoultion.
This is a great camera if you want to leave behind the average point an shoot part cameras, this can give you almost all the fun and quality of a beginners SLR.
Pros: Easy to use, excellent pictures, lonnngg battery
Cons: nothing
I am 13 and I want to be a photographer, and when I bought this the pictures came out AMAZING. Every color in every picture is crisp and focused.
these are the pics I have taken with it:

Buy it, its well worth it...
Pros: Ease of use, lots of features, Super macro, zoom
Cons: Shutter lag, very bad manual focus
This Camera is the best that money can buy in this price range, It never let me down, it suffers from Shutter lag but it's fine with me. It has a lot of features, and overall it's a very nice camera and both macro and super macro modes are superb. The only downside of this camera is the manual focus, it's too slow and you won't be able to adjust apreture and shutter speed while using manual focus, plus it is not comfortable at all as you will have to press 2 buttons located in uncomfortable places for a long time till it gets the right focus, but Auto focus is good though so I rarely use manual focus . Nevertheless I upgraded to a DSLR but I still use my s700 for snapshots, and I will be keeping it till it dies.
Pros: Great price, ease of use, fun to use
Cons: no case (no shock) slight image stabilization issue
I go to many sporting events (i.e. Hockey), which are fast-paced, which would be hard for the average camera to capture a straight image. This camera is FAST! The focus is off a little, but it's not too bad. I paid a very very small price (floor model with manager's discount), and I absolutely recommend this camera to anybody interested in photography, or just want to take great memories!
Pros: lightweight and easy to use and cheap
Cons: too slow for action shots [sometimes]
this is perfect for me, at such a small price for a fantastic little camera, i can take it anywhere, alot of my friends have the large canon and nikons with seperate lenses but they are terrified about taking them on the beach or over there shoulder on walks etc but i can take this anywhere, £108 i don't worry about the cost of replacment, i get the most fantastic shots as i can take it anywhere and can also take pictures with one hand which is handy when you have a dog in the other,i highly recommend this camere for the beginer and the experienced photographer
Pros: great photos, not grainy
Cons: battery life, even with high capacity rechargeable
I used the camera so much I actually wore the shutter out the first year. I sent it to a place in the states and received it back in less then two weeks, I have had no issues with it since then, because it was under warranty I only paid shipping to send it. The video and sound is good, I wish I was better at taking nighttime pictures, but that is user issue not camera. I have used the best rechargeable batteries but they do not last long for me in this camera.
Pros: Very easy
Cons: none
This camera will give you pictures you never dreamed you could take. I was out of practice from my old school 35mm film camera, and I didn't even need a refresher course with this model. The price has come down in the last year, but the quality remains. There is a reason it is at the top of the list!!
Pros: Feature packed.
Cons: Major purple fringing problem, No otpical image stabilization
Wanted a camera with high optical zoom and within budget and this one fits perfect.Image quality is quite good.
this can be your bridge between a basic point n shoot and a slr, if you're not quite ready for a slr yet..
However it suffers from a massive purple fringing problem.Overall a good buy.
Pros: Good quality high resolution photos
Cons: I would have only paid $300 had I known...
After 2-3 years, it developed a weird streak of light in each photo. It is only visible if you enlarge to 5x7 or more, BUT this is NOT what I expected from a camera in this price range! I still use it - for snapshots only. But, I never would have paid more than $250 - $300 for a camera that only took snapshots.
I did not drop it or otherwise abuse the camera. My local camera-repair shop said it was not worth fixing.
It makes me leary of ever again spending more than $350 on a digital camera.
