This is my second digital camera. I'm a general use camera kind of person, shooting mostly home events and vacations and I'm not entering contests or doing a lot of custom work. Overall, I like this camera. The features are good, and the z...oom is an excellent feature - good for H.S. football games, and swim meets! It doesn't do to badly for Prom pictures of the kids either. It fits nicely in my hands, and I have large hands. I'm not sure I'll like the XD Memory card, it means my old one won't fit this camera, so I'll have to spend more money. The included 16mb card will fill quickly. The only real down side is the batteries. They are not rechargeable. I bought a set of rechargeable Ni-Mh AA batteries with charger. I don't like that I can't just plug the camera into my computer and have the batteries recharge through my USB cable. But the manual says I'll get over 400 photos per battery charge/use, so maybe it won't be too bad. I'll update this after a couple more months... Read more Less
