I've been using this for a month now, and I'm quite happy with it. I'm particularly fond of the camera body which fits naturally in the hand and the shutter button is easily reached. I do some action photography, and this comes in handy-t...he shape makes it easy to hold the camera steady. I like the range of options for adjusting pictures.The flash is something that takes some getting used to-I have to remember to toggle the release, so as to use it. That's about the only complaint I have with it-I like the fact that it's adjustable, and the cycle time is much faster than previous cameras I've owned. That's pretty important to me.This camera does well in low light. I often shoot in low light; sometimes through a car windscreen; and I get satisfactory results just the same. The AF lamp is particularly useful in this regard-it's rated as having a range of 1.8 metres; but it is actually functional as a guide for much greater distances.I like the display, which is informative without being excessively cluttered; the standard viewfinder is handy.The zoom control needs some work. It's backwards to me-and I have to fiddle with it. There is one plus to it's location and setup-I'm less likely to inadvertently zoom while moving about.You can use this camera with the USB and Linux-but with caution. It's easy enough to lock up your computer. It's just as well to use an external card reader to load pictures onto your computer. Read more Less
