Pros: Price and features beats the competition! Compact, well made, good looking, excellant almost pro quality pics from beguinner to advanced users! Right out of the box easy to use, intuitive controls, big LCD, high quality lens, best camera I've owned so far!

Cons: Battery life could be better, but I bought a spare to keep charged up for when the battery dies.

I've had Canon, Casio, Pentax, Minolta, Konica, Sony, Canon and other point and shoots thatI used during my 30 years of Police work. But I have also had 6 FujiFilm digital cameras, and they keep evolving into more and more incredible camera's...! I love my Fuji FinePix S5200 best, with it's "slr" type body...but this new F100fd blows away my other DigiCams as well as the competition. Features abound, dual layer super CCD 10th generation gives the pics a true depth of color, contrasts and allows very low light photography with good color. The Intelligent Face detection can scan up to 10 faces in a pic that insures clear focus and proper exposure on all face pics. There are a bunch of modes that make sure you get the best pic in 10 different situations without any input from you, automatically. Try it on scenery, sunsets, night shots, low light photos, etc. $299.00 at Dell and knock off $100.00 with the rebate from FujiFilm. $199.00 with free ship! Great for anyone, even if you don't do well with camera's, this FinePix will do all of the work for you and produce 12 mega bytes of high quality pics, and a 5X optical zoom (better than an Digital zoom for clear pics) gets the shots at a distance.
