    Nice Point and Shoot

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 30, 2005 | 25 out of 26 found this Fujifilm FinePix F10 review helpful

Pros: Quick Start-UP, 6.3MP, Fast frame to frame, LOOOONG battery life, Nice Pics, easy to use, fits in pocket

Cons: No hard core manual controls, First Unit purchased at Best Buy it was DOA, Second unit purchased only to find a thread or hair inside the lens. Very poor OOB/IFQ. 3rd is a charm

Overall I am very pleased with the price/performance on this Camera. I would recommend it and I am a very picky shopper. Price was not a huge consideration for me. I was all set to buy the canon SD500. Canon had received good reviews but two items bo...thered me, low light performance and battery life. There are two sites I recommend reviewing: _ttp:/

    Good buy

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 25, 2006 | 16 out of 17 found this Fujifilm FinePix F10 review helpful

Pros: Long battery life, great in low light, compact and good hand fit, lens automatically covered when off, versatile zoom.

Cons: clumsy recharger, one fixed lens, 'on' button should be more protected from accidental bumps, but it really hasn't happened.

I got this camera especially for museum low-light photography where flash is prohibited and I wanted something to pop in my pocket. Asked around and compared Nikons and Canons, but a 'guru' at the university camera store MADE me compare this ...one, due to its new (then) high resoltion compared to just about any others. I haven't been disappointed. Pictures are great. Once I learned the features, its not all that hard to switch modes, but it takes practice. I do wish I had a digital for all my old Nikon lenses, but at this price, I'll wait for that. Plus, its nice not carrying a camera bag anymore, but still having good photos to e-mail. Read more Less

Pros: takes great, clear pics in low light

Cons: some features hard to figure out

We have been very pleased with this camera's performance. The movies are amazing and so easy to download into your computer. The pictures are very clear and the large screen is fantastic. It takes pictures in low light and it is a great bargain f...or the price. Read more Less

    seems great for the money

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 18, 2006 | 6 out of 6 found this Fujifilm FinePix F10 review helpful

Pros: features for the dollar .. picture quality and viewer size

Cons: doesnt come with a small case

this is my first digital but i have had a lot of film cameras .. including a cannon elan with several lenses . i bought this for a quick pull out and take a picture camera so i didnt have to lug the bigger camera around with is larger case . it is ni...ce and quick pull it out and snap .. plenty of zoom and the digital zoom pictures are clear. also i bought right off the bat the larger storage chip and can get almost 200 pictures out of it and i get to edit them right away instead of waiting for the exposure of film there is a bit of a delay from pushing the button till it actually takes a picture .. but i cant find anything else wrong with it .. the auto pull up of pictures from the camera to the computer doesnt seem to work so i have to pull it up maually but that could be me not doing something in the correct order i am not sure i would say for the money .. i paid 300 .. at the time i got the most bang for the buck .. never had to use costomer support so i cant comment on that . well good luck Read more Less

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 22, 2005 | 6 out of 7 found this Fujifilm FinePix F10 review helpful

    Pros: very beautiful pictures

    Cons: not to manual...

It's little, it's have a very beautiful picture quality. You have to be willing to learn her secrets. The only thing I mess its shutter speed priority. Bravo Fuji, nice work.

    Pros: light, easy to use

    Cons: lack of view finder

I am a fashion photographer. This is the camera of choice for me for all pre shots. I take it everywhere and it always performs. Long battery use with one charge daily keeps me going all day. My only complaint is that the LCD is too big and d...oes not perform well in bright light. I would like there to be a view finder to fall back to when shooting in bright light. Read more Less

    Pros: Great little camera

    Cons: the manual

I took this camera on vacation, I also took my Canon 20D. This
little camera took better pictures than my Canon at almost 3x's
the price. Enlargements were great too.

    It's almost like cheating

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 14, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this Fujifilm FinePix F10 review helpful

Pros: Ludicrously long battery life, miniscule shutter lag, lovely big display, superb pics, fast to use, lovely to hold

Cons: Needs an external adapter for USB, charger and video (why?), manual mode not too accessible, uses xd cards, doesn't use standard batteries

You don't have to be a good photographer to know a good photo when you see one. For that matter, bad photos are pretty easy to spot too. For the impatient idiot, like me, who wants to take beautiful pictures without even having to think about rec...harging the battery, this camera is perfect. It's small, feels wonderful to hold, and as long as you point it in the right general direction and press the button, the chances are good that you'll take a brilliant picture. That's not to say I haven't taken my fair share of blurry nightmare shots with it, but any camera *that* idiot-proof would need to be powered by magic. The cons of this device are not worth considering when compared to the pros; the battery life is genuinely scary. I took hundreds of photos, over a period of two months on the back of one four-hour charge. Even a meagre A-level in physics is enough to suggest that this shouldn't be possible. Likewise, the legendary lack of shutter lag really is true. Getting pictures of wildlife and action shots is disgustingly simple. This was a purchasing decision I'm proud to have made. Good features, poor quality

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 9, 2006 | 1 out of 1 found this Fujifilm FinePix F10 review helpful

Pros: Low light pictures, quick shutter time, long battery charge

    Cons: breaks very easy

I really loved this camera, I even tried to talk other people into buying it, but it only lasted me a year. --The first thing to break was the control switch on the top - now I can only take pictures in fully automatic mode, I can't even record m...ovies. I didn't drop it, it just stopped working. This was 4 months ago. I couldn't afford to fix it, so I've just been using it as is. --Just this weekend the battery died. The whole camera started heating up. It was so hot I couldn't even hold it, then it just stopped working. It will cost me almost as much as I paid for it just to fix it. So now I don't have a camera - and this thing cost me a lot of money for something that only lasts a year. Read more Less

Awesome Camera for Great Low-Light Pictures

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 3, 2007

    Pros: Great Low-Light Pictures

Cons: Some low-light pictures become grainy and no manual function

This camera is great! It's so easy to use and takes great photos. The large LCD screen makes composition easy. The best feature is the great range of ISO up to 1600 for low-light settings. I can often take far superior photos than my friends ...in the same situation. Yes, it's a bit chunky but I am very happy to make that sacrifice for the quality of pictures I get from it.
