The FinePix A205 sports a high-performance Fujinon 3X optical zoom lens (equivalent to 36-108mm on a 35mm camera), making it easy to frame your subject perfectly. A smooth digital zoom function offers up to 2.5X additional magnification.

Your camera comes complete with batteries and a 16MB xD-Picture Card, so you can start taking pictures right away. Then just press the shutter button - and welcome to the world of digital photography. The FinePix A205 automatically controls focus, exposure, and white balance to give you great photos, first time and every time.

Thanks to its power-saving design, the FinePix A205 lets you take up to 300 shots on a single pair of AA batteries.

All menus can be displayed in any of six languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, or Japanese. The easy-to-use LCD menus make it a breeze to change settings to your own personal preferences.

The FinePix A205 is designed around the ultra-compact xD-Picture Card. This versatile memory card standard offers a number of advantages, including effortless PC data transfer with any compatible USB card reader or PC/CompactFlash card adapter.

The PictureCradle, available separately, provides a simple and stylish way to automatically upload image files to your PC while simultaneously recharging the camera battery.

    Pros: Value 4 $, battery life (rechargeables), Picture Quality

    Cons: No sound in movie mode, lack of zoom

    I bought this camera 2 weeks ago and its been a really great camera. I am familiar with digital cameras, so I didn't just get this because its leaned more towards novice users. I mainly got it for the brand (Fuji) and the price ($99.98). At that ...price you would think your getting a cheaper lower quality camera, but it takes better pictures (when set at 2 MP) than my mom's 3 MP (When set at 3 MP). Of course hers is a Hewlett Packard so that pretty much explains it. There's only one thing that I really wish they would have added, and thats the ability to record sound when in video mode..the zoom is also not the greatest but its not the worst either, and for a 3x it stays very clear. Overall I would DEFINETLY recommend this camera to anyone wanting to jump into the fun world of digital photography, or more experienced users who are looking for a GREAT deal. Read more Less

    Pros: Cheap a great value for a digtal camera

    Cons: not many features zoom is pretty bad

    this camera is ok for the money i paid for it but the zoom and features suck but hey what do u expect this is a great first camera to start with it takes pretty clear pictures and its very easy to use overall B.
