Once again the Countdown Singers deliver an album of popular cover songs, this album in particular centering on love ballads for weddings. One really can't argue with the songs they've chosen, many of which still hold their power over the years: "Butterfly Kisses"; "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You"; "Just the Way You Are"; "The Power of Love"; "Tonight I Celebrate My Love for You"; and a pair of Lionel Richie ballads, "My Love" and "Endless Love," being the standouts here. And while the Countdown Singers should be commended for tackling such a broad selection of ballads, listeners also have to cringe at times when their makeshift instrumentation just doesn't quite compare to the original. Still, listeners who are at all familiar with the Countdown Singers know what they're getting into -- they've never been known for their craft and their performance here definitely won't change that perception.
