The depiction of the prostitutes was true to the way life was back then and even had some factual accounting of why the investigation was so bungled. Just go and see it if you are into the Ripper mystery but don't expect a thrill ride. ... -

I loved the way it through in all different theories and kept you guessing all the way through as to who the Ripper was. Stay true to the comic book it was based off of, but held it's own too. Johnny Depp and Heather Graham gave decent performances, though the acting in spots could have been a little better. Anybody who is a fan of Jack the Ripper like I am will definitely like this movie. ...
