Singer/songwriter Elizabeth Steen made her musical debut in the mid-'90s as a session musician. This Boston gal is a skilled pianist and accordion player and, eventually, Steen joined Tanya Donelly's band in 1997 as well as Natalie Merchant for several of her albums -- Ophelia, The House Carpenter's Daughter, and Motherland.
