Jason once again stalks the grounds of camp crystal lake, where he finds his beloved Hockey mask. The 3D effect was nothing special
but still the death scenes were alittle more
alaborite. The beggining title is followed by

this movie had more interesting characters then the first two, much more interesting characters, but the shmucks that made it killed the hippies! the loveley peaceful hippies!?! This does not win my bad rating, the bore of this movie does. It drags in the day time, very excessiveley, but at night, with all the others it stands in a better catagory then most of the rest. (nice choice of -use)

The film was slighly scarier than pervious ones. The kills were good. Jason got his mask and gets the ax, however, nothing new to offer in this franchise.

This 3rd entry in the F13 series is a good contribution to the saga. There is a little more to the plot this time, and it's not about camp councelors anymore. It's about average people like you and me. That makes it more scary. Jason is better with his new and improved look. The 3-D effects are wasted when seen on a regular TV set, but no big deal.
The music theme makes this one more dated than the others. All in all this is a good way to spend your friday night at home with your girlfriend and some popcorn.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoJason Is A Sad Man

I remember that "Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3-D" opened on Friday the 13th, and that I got several vicious elbows in the stomach because I thought the part where Jason squeezes a kid's head until his eyes pop out at the screen to be laughable (for a whole bunch of reasons). Making the film in 3-D did allow a bit more inventiveness for slicing and dicing the next crop of victims up at Crystal Lake, but most of the stuff is predictable. You see that pitchfork and you just know what is going to happen. Even so, not being able to see the film in 3-D takes away some of the fun. Director Steve Miner, back again after "Part 2," has a bit part as the newscaster. Otherwise you can have fun trying looking through the International Movie Data Base at the other films of Richard Brooker, Dana Kimmell and the rest of the cast. For the most part you will recognize some of the films they managed to pop up in, but you will have a hard time remembering the Lady at Grandmother's House in "Jo Jo Dancer Your Life Is Calling."

This film would kick ass even more if the DVD was actually 3-D, the ending where Jason decapitates Chris with an axe was placed in, and if the all the gore in the handstand splitting scene was left intact. Still, Jason's trademark look is born, and the Jason dance theme rocks.

This movie was great. Jason survives his attacks from Part 2 and reeks havoc on Chris (Dana Kimmell)and her friends, some vacationing teenagers. The teens are also terrorized by a biker gang lead by Ali (Nick Savage). But Jason stops the biker gang by killing 2 of the members and knocking out Ali. Then Jason starts to kill the teens one by one until Chris and her boyfriend Rick (Paul Kratka) are left. Rick goes to look for everyone and is killed by Jason who squeezes his head until his eye pops out. Then Jason terrorizes Chris and the only one that can help her is the knocked out biker Ali...

With the same thing that happened in the last movie, the camp conselours can feel that he is still out there. Each one gets killed one by one, I thought the hippie guy was a sissy in this one. Come on he should've been brave. But he acted like a wuss having his girlfriend make him feel better. It was funny when he get into the garage, and Jason was behind him and he got him shocked and burnt to pieces. I think Vera was really dumb thinking it was that fat guy, and Jason shot her in the eye. That was great. I thought when he popped Chip's head was bogus. That eye was fake. But at tne end, I really like how that punk guy tried to help her out at the end, and the last survivor girl slashed him in the face. I forgot. But at the end, he's still alive and it looks like the same girl from Part 2 was grabbing her under the water. That got me confused, she's alive I think.

Not only did Jason get his hockey mask... but he grew bigger and stronger too! He also changed into different clothes and shaved his head bald and got a tan.

this was an improvement over 1 and 2 but not good enough. the only big improvement is jason. this time he has a hockey mask for the first time and he is cooler and scarier. it was aslo more exciting but despite those things the movie sucked.

When I was about 9 the first Friday the 13th instalment which I watched was part 3 and I was pretty impresed. After watching all of the Friday the 13th instalments I definately thought that part 3 was the best it has lots of blood and it's the first time which Jason wheres his hockey match. Apart from the lake being 10 times smaller than the original lake a movie to see.
