    finally astley got matured. this is a surprise from him and i think it is great and interesting. he should do more like this than those previous cheesy music he used to do then.

    WHAT A BAD COURRIR MOVE FOR RICK ASTLEYTO CHANGE A DIFFERENT BEAT AND STYLED OF THIS ALBUM. DON`T LOOK ANY BRIGHT BUBBLY DANCE TUNE LIKE HIS PREVIOUS ALBUMS LIKE WE CAME TO ENJOYED AND DANCE TO WITH IN CLUBS. IT`S MORE OF A GOSPLE STYLED AND NOT REA...LLY APPEALING TO YOUNGER GENERATION AND THE OLD FAN`S WHO LOVED HIS DANCE MUSIC. IT `S GOOD,BUT IN A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW COS IT PROVES RICK KNOWS HOW TO WRITE AND PRODUCE A ALBUM WITH OUT STOCK AITKEN AND WATERMAN HELP AND DID HAVE ONE GOOD SONG IN THE TOP 10 "CRY FOR HELP" BUT THE BIGGEST ERROR IT WAS A GOOD SELLER COS PEOPLE TOUGHT IT WOULD BE LIKE THE PREVIOUS ALBUM AND WERE DISAPOINTED COS IT CONTAIN NO DANCE SONG IN THIS ONE. No longer were the Average White Band and '70s Philly soul/disco valid comparisons; the new...Astley had more in common with Michael MacDonald and the Doobie Brothers...There are a few songs on Free that pack a bit of a punch, including "The Bottom Line" and the rock-influenced "Is This Really Love"...
