It's not a typical movie for one. Freddy Got Fingered had an anachistic way of almost mocking movie dramatics, or life in general. Tom Green really went out on the edge to make it, and for that I have to give him credit. I predict this will be his greatest movie, I don't see him doing anything more original after this. Similar to Steve Martin's The Jerk, I mean the movies after it were good but just didn't have the same energy.

The bones of this movie are sound despite the fact that the editing has taken out some of the best sequences and story line. The Tom Green Experience is sobering, one should not be too serious when evaluating this cinema project or any of his work. The messages behind the action are awkwardly conveyed with sometimes-repugnant vignettes nonetheless relevant to many of the dysfunctional elements in our contemporary culture.
What is the point to all of this movie buffoonery? Comedic entertainment. Freddy Got Fingered screams to all, be true to your nature, however it may not be in a language commonly spoken or willingly heard.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoWORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN

If this movie is to be intended as a stupid senseless experience, it has come to the point with flying colors, I have never seen anything more stupid. If it was mean't to be very funny then I stick to the word TRASH. I would have expected a lot more from the cast involved.

This was nearly the worst thing I have ever seen in all my life; and I'm not just talking about on video. I am a Tom Green fan and I feel like Fox Video owes me an hour and 1/2 of my life back. If this movie had not been a rental, it would have met its end with my 16 gauge to prevent its humorless disease from spreading. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WATCH THIS PAIN-STRICKEN MOVIE!!!

The New York Times called it "brilliant". Variety Radio called it "Hilarious! The most original comedy of the year!"
This was the easily the worst movie I have ever seen. This film makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with people.
Please tell me there were more people like me that had the misfortune to see this movie and were put off by the acting, script and the entire concept.
Makes me mad when I buy a DVD that the New York Times calls "Brilliant" and get crap like this. Probably should not have wrote this right after watching the film but I'm just pissed off.
Not only do we need to get crap like this off the shelves we need to find out what is wrong with the people that find it enjoyable.
Has anyone noticed the steady decline in quality films? Let's start sending Hollywood the correct message so we can get some worth while movies being made again.

"Freddy Got Fingerd" was a good movie. I really liked it. The acting was good. Tom Green did a hilarous job in his directing debut
. He did a good job staring in it. Rip Torn was also good in the flick. Anthoy Michael Hall is a loser but he was good in this movie.
Drew Barrymore wasn't in it enough,but she was good in it! The rest of the no-name cast was good. The diaglo was great. Well it wasn't great it was funny as heck though. The thing's that Tom Green did were not normal but they way he did it was great. Some thing's were sick but still funny. The stroy line was good. The plot was good but dumb. I'd recomend if your 13-25. I can't wait for the DVD. I'm gonna buyt it I hope it will be good! This movie rocks!Was this review helpful? Yes - NoFreddy got Fingered
