Freddie King at his Best !

This CD is hands down Freddie King's best. If you think B.B. King is the king of the blues, then you haven't heard Freddie. Eric Clapton make's an appearance on "Farther On Up The Road" and that's not even the highlight of the CD! Freddie was a big ...man with a powerful voice and great blues guitar style. "Pack It Up" is a great hard driving blues song. "Shake Your Bootie" is just plain 70's fun. After hearing his renditions of "Woman Across The River" and "Sweet Home Chicago" is hard to believe people still try and cover them. ItÂ’s so over used but, if you only have one Freddie King CD, this is the one. Read more Less

The real king of the blues

Pros: Flared collars and more soul than you've ever heard in your life

    Cons: None

The man who taught clapton when and when not to show his hand, the undisputed king of chicago guitar blues. Buy Freddie King and learn what guitar is about!
