An outstanding collection for the 80's generation

I didn't realize how expensive this is- I got it when it first came out too. Very random on my part; if you are a by-product of the 1980's you'll appreciate the beauty and intelligence of Freaks and Geeks. It was a shame that it was cance...lled, from what I understand it did have a cult following. It addresses all the issues and experiences we went through; the dogma of establishment. Some don't understand why the 80s were important, it was a time when we witnessed a plethora of happenings that wound up shaping the world we live in now. Current events are not new just history repeating itself. I'm not saying that all generations are not influenced in some way or another, far from that. The acting alone is very awesome, the writing is top notch and there is no bad stone, the premise of understanding is a concept that is starting to develop in teenagers and young adults now; the questioning of authority and the - "What am I going to do now " cycle of life. I see what is happening and it is sad but I certainly wish there was more dignity and pride for our country, whether this has anything to do with Freaks and Geeks, I don't know but I loved the darn thing.
