Singer/songwriter Frank de Pina formed his first group, Os Vulcanios, with his brothers in 1971. Subsequently he moved to Portugal and eventually to Boston where he now lives and performs. De Pina performs both sentimental morna ballads and upbeat coladeira dance pieces.
