Great tin, lousy playlist

Pros: Bob Marley is always good. Tin is interesting. Good for collectors.

Cons: Should be titled "Classic Marley Minus the hits"

Don't expect much and you won't be dissapointed. The sticker on the shrinkwrap stated something along the lines of "All the favorite Bob Marley songs in one collection." One glance at the back and you see that this isn't true at... all. where is "Get Up, Stand Up"? how about "Jamming" or "I Shot the Sherrif"? Nope... At best this three disc set is good for background music at a party, but don't expect anyone to say "Hey, turn that up!" because all the best songs are absent. Great for someone who must own EVERY rehashing of Bob's stuff, but there are much better collections out there. However, the tin would make a great place to STASH stuff. LOL! The tin, IMHO, is the only reason to buy this box set. It is very cool. It opens on hinges in the back and front. The only drawback to the tin is that, like anything screenprinted on metal, it is very easy to scratch. Read more Less
