Pros: The train keeps a rollin'

Cons: A little more grown up from previous albums

Huey Lewis And The News continue their momentum, and the hits keep coming.
This album finds them maturing in their lyrics a bit more and expanding their sound a bit.
Very reflective and inflective lyrics at times, but very true to the heart and mind.

    Great Album

A great follow up to Sports. Not quite as good as Sports itself but close enough.

  • All Music Guide

Sports was one of the rare mainstream pop/rock albums where everything worked the songs were catchy, the sound was inviting, and it all sounded perfect on the radio. Fore is a reasonably enjoyable facsimile of the pleasures of Sports, yet it lacks the gleeful sense of fun that made that record, as well as portions of Picture This, so enjoyable.
