    the songs takes about a lot of issue that puizes me in this days and time

    Farce of Nature

    Blackground's newest R&B crooner Tank, has the voice, the beats, the presence, and the body. So why does his debut album FORCE OF NATURE fall short still? That's probably because his buttery vocals don't have enough force itself or soul to make this ...album have an "Army" of R&B fans to jump or bump and grind to the standard and conventional music. He oddly mimics Joe and Ginuwine in the album's pop/R&B and hip-hop first half. Then he makes an abrupt switch to wanting to sound like Marvin Gaye, D'Angelo, and Jaheim in the second half, going to recycled old-school soul. Obviously Tank can't make up his mind, and much of the album is throwaway stuff. Plus, he needs to cut it out with the annoying "Fort Knox" shout outs. Grade: (C) Read more Less

    I love this cd!!

    I became a Tank fan only a few months ago. I always liked "Maybe I Deserve", but I didn't really get a chance to listen to his album. Something just made me buy it and I'm so glad I did. I just regret not actually seeing him on tour or anything. So, ...if anybody knows when Tank goes on tour please post it. My favorite songs on his album are "Bounce & Grind" and "Slowly", but I like all of the songs. He really puts his heart into song writing.     I love Tank....of course he is fine and a cutie but he is also so down to earth...a sweetie! I got to meet him in New Orleans after his performance at the House of Blues this past summer (2001). Of course the performance was good and although I was... nervous about meeting him his simple presence calmed all of that. This album displays his true talent through his vocals, his lyrics, and his production skills (check out more of his lyrical and production skills on Aaliyah's latest LP). It doesn't have as many ballads as I would like, but the mix is actually good to hear.....I look forward to his future efforts! Read more Less
