    This is a great movie for young teens. It teaches that good fun can be just that good clean fun. Also teaches work and standup for what you want.

    this movie is not only one of the greatest dance movies of all time, but it is also one of my all time favorite movies. i loved this film as a kid. im an african-american male, and this movie dispels the rumor that all white people dont have rhythm o...r cant dance, and they have hope (lol). it is just a feel-good movie that makes you wanna get up and dance along with the bangin' soundtrack and ... -------------------------

    this movie is not only one of the greatest dance movies of all time, but it is also one of my all time favorite movies. i loved this film as a kid. im an african-american male, and this movie let me know that not all white people dont have rhythm or... cant dance, and they have hope (lol). it is just a feel-good movie that makes you wanna get up and dance along with the bangin' soundtrack and dancing. this movie is timeless, and every time i watch my old Paramount VHS copy (which has been re-released to dvd, which i still wouldnt mind buying), i never get tired of it. it is definitely worth the purchase. i might buy the dvd, and i already have the VHS, thats how worth it it is.     It has everything:
    A captivating and exciting plot
    An all star cast
    A BRILLIANT soundtrack
    Wicked dance routines and superb dialogue
    It just makes you dance however you are feeling.
