Ruben is forcing America to deal with the reality of who we are and what we are really about. Hey America, some of us are not HPTW; does that really make our talents less marketable? Why? How? Martin Luther King said it should be about the conte...nt of your character, not skin color. Nor should it be about how tight you can wear your Gap jeans and how some itty bitty little white girl has yourpicture all over her walls and made her mother drive her and all her friends to your concert. Ruben sounds Campbell Soup GOOD! 24/7! All those haters should just close their eyes and learn how to listen to the music. It's about the audio, not the video; make your own movie in your own mind. What's that? You can't imaginea fine, healthy, cute, chocolate man singing sweetlittle somethings to you? You can only see some Broadway wannabe with a hayseed hairdo in your dreams? Good! That leaves more of Ruben for me 'cause I know a real American Idol when I hear and/or see one! By the way, I am 50 yrs old and I've lived long enough and bought enough music to know the real thing when it comes around. Long after those itty bitty little girls have moved on to the next new thing, Ruben will still be making us real women weak at the knees 'cause he's got what it takes! Read more Less
