Cons: Not enough songs.
Okay, first off I will admit I am a New Kids fan so I am a little biased, but I will be honest. We all know how it is we get a new cd and like maybe four songs and skip through the rest, I even do it with my old New Kids stuff I don't like every song. With this EP I wasn't tempted to skip through any song I love every one. There is one song ( Have You) that has some weird background sound effects someone has made with their mouth, but the song as a whole is great.
Jordan has a fresh new sound with this EP, and I think that when it hits every station it will blow up, surpassing all other artist on the charts today. ...

Pro Reviews: Fix
| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews Jordan Knight's struggle for that elusive comeback continues with 2005's The Fix, his first album since rerecording the New Kids On The Block hits in 2004 and his first collection of new material since his 1999 solo album, Jordan Knight. That album found Knight trying to fit into the resurgent dancepop of the turn of the millennium and while it had some marginal success "Give It You" hit number 10 it wasn't a hit, and he was dropped soon afterward. The next few years he was out of the spotlight, but he started to reemerge toward the middle of the decade thanks to endless touring and, especially, an appearance on VH1's neverending celebporn show The Surreal Life, which helped open the door for a new recording career for Knight. The Fix isn't a splashy comeback it's being released on a subsidiary of the independent Madacy and at eight songs it's somewhere between a fulllength album and an EP, which means it makes even fewer waves than a full album might have. But this isn't really intended to be a big comeback it's a way to connect to the fans that have never left him and, to that end, Knight gives them more of what they crave: namely, music that sounds like it could have been released in 1990. Whether it's the mellow adult contemporary of "Where Is Your Heart Tonight" or the dancepop of "Keep It on the Sly," this is music that conforms to the sounds and aesthetics of prealternative, pregangsta turn of the decade mainstream pop; even the title track features cameos from such '80s rap titans as Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick, making this a real throwback. While this means that The Fix sounds a bit as if it's a time capsule preserved in amber, it's also a sound that Knight is comfortable with and he gives a good, comfortable performance here. He never embarasses himself by stretching farther than he can reach and the songs are good enough for this to be a pleasant listen. It's not enough to give Knight that comeback he so clearly wants, but it's enough to keep his hardcore fans happy and since they've waited six years for new songs, that should be enough for them. - Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide |

Knight,Jordan Biography
As a frequent lead vocalist for late-'80s teen-pop sensations New Kids on the Block, Jordan Knight lent his sweet falsetto to such Top Ten hits as "You Got It (The Right Stuff)," "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)," and "Cover Girl." Additionally, Knight ...Full Knight,Jordan Biography
Pros: A totally new sound!
Cons: Not enough songs!!
This album shows how Jordan Knight has matured over the last few years musically. This album has a more contemporary feel to it with more uptempo songs than ballads, although the ballads "Where Is Your Heart Tonight" (which is doing brilliantly in the US A/C charts) and "Have You" are both incredible, but I love the fast-paced JK songs too!
The title track "The Fix" features legends Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick and is a raunchy body-shaking song I can't help dancing to!
"Don't Cry" is a dance track which made the top five in Spain through pure fan demand and show-cases Knight's falsetto brilliantly!
"Your Man" is a fun, upbeat catchy song I can see being sung in Karaoke twenty odd years from now.
"Keep It On The Sly" has to be my favourite! I can't help singing the sexy lyrics in the shower! LOL! It'll go far if it's ever released!
I feel Jordan's truly left his boy-band image behind on this album. Think US version of George Michael rather than New Kids and you'll love it! ...
